The Future of Sustainable Agriculture

Our technology platform has demonstrated its ability to act as an elicitor, which activates the plant’s innate immune system; thereby triggering a process known as priming. This natural mechanism enables a plant to utilize its’ own immune system and defensive genes to defend itself against pathogens and stress.

Technology Basis

What is plant priming?

Priming is a natural adaptive response mechanism that improves the defensive capacity of plants by activating a plant's innate physiological and evolutionary immune defenses to respond to biotic and abiotic stress.

Just as a vaccine can prepare humans to quickly combat a disease, induced priming can elicit a plant's natural combative responses to react to future stress and/or pathogen challenges.

Priming elicitors are compositions of natural key elements, which provide a positive plant stimulatory growth response that benefits agricultural productivity while also supporting sustainable production practices and ag ecosystem regeneration.

Expanding the use of priming elicitors will make commercial agriculture and home gardening more sustainable by enabling plants to reach their natural biological growth potential and by minimizing the need for additional inputs (e.g. fertilizer, crop protection chemicals, etc.). Our priming products do not harm the soil or any organism (e.g. soil microbes, beneficial insects, etc.) and act only by activating natural plant responses.

What Makes Us Different?

How our Technology is Unique

Our proprietary priming technology platform maximizes plant performance by eliciting (activating) a plant’s natural immunological capabilities and accelerating development processes such as plant metabolism, nutrient absorption, and development of defense genes.

In addition to enabling plants to achieve greater yield and quality, the use of our plant priming technology has demonstrated both preventative and curative response to certain plant diseases.

Technology Leader in Plant Priming

The mechanism of action (priming) that defines our technology and subsequent elicitor compositions and formulations allows us to directly impact crop yields and sustainable farming practices.

Our solutions help combat an increasing number of production agriculture challenges around the world. Challenges such as yield robbing diseases, drought stress, declining arable land base, insect pressure, and overreliance on increased levels of crop protection and fertilizer inputs presents us with a unique opportunity to become a market leader in the quest for sustainable agricultural technologies that will advance our food supply and improve farming productivity.

Expandability & Optimization

We are in the process of advancing the development of new product compositions and formulations, and analytical tools to guide differential application rates and timing. With proper application and timing, we are observing that through enhanced plant vigor and bio-availability response, the plant unlocks natural growth potential (yield/quality) and resists certain diseases, With proper application and timing, we are observing that through enhanced plant vigor and bio-availability response, the plant unlocks natural growth potential (yield/quality) and resists certain diseases, with the potential for reduced rates of crop protection and fertilizer inputs. Because we don’t act directly against the disease vector, regulatory timelines are quite manageable with resulting favorable time to market for new product compositions and formulations.

One important example of a new product that has resulted from our recent research is the development of a dry formulation that is suitable for seed treatment applications. Early testing indicates that this product is highly effective when applied as a seed treatment, enabling expanded potential for broad acre applications in a variety of row crops.

Proven Results

Consistent Performance

Multi-year replicated field trials and validations completed on a wide variety of crops, climates and soil conditions worldwide have consistently demonstrated the enhanced value (ROI) and efficacy of using BAM-FX as part of a grower’s standard program. Higher profit margins are achievable through increased yield and crop value, the ability to salvage crops that would otherwise have to be destroyed, and the potential savings from rate reduction in other crop protection inputs.

Observed Curative and Preventative Effects to Major Plant Diseases

Our innovative priming elicitor technology has demonstrated both preventative and curative responses to plant diseases, many of which currently have no effective natural treatment or solution, such as:
  • Citrus Greening (Oranges)
  • Xylella fastidiosa (Olives)
  • Collar Rot (Pigeon Peas)
  • Bacterial Blight (Pomegranates)
  • Red Blotch and Leaf Roll (Grapes)
  • Coffee Rust (Coffee)

Let’s Grow Together!

We are actively seeking commercial partners to assist in the advancement of our latest priming elicitor compositions and new formulations, as well as the expansion of our existing portfolio through new investors, distributors and product integration partners.
